Ease of use

Everything works pretty well! The fin attachment mechanism is a little bit clunky and the pressure gauge on the pump doesn't always work perfectly, but overall for the price a very good board.

Weekender-Tour 11’ is awesome!

Easy to inflate. Super light to carry. I keep it inflated in my garage and walk 1/4 mile to a lake near my house. Sturdy ride. Stiff board. The dog rides on front. Great board. High quality. Would buy again in a second.

Weekender Tour 11'

Great paddle board for the price. The difference between the 'armorstrength' PVC and 'military grade' PVC used on Retrospec's more expensive MSL-series paddleboards is not clear on the website. I own a paddle board from a different manufacturer that also claims 'military grade' PVC, and the 'armorstrength' PVC is significantly thinner and more pliable in comparison. This makes the paddle board lighter and easier to roll up, but also less rigid when on the water. The rigidity of this board on the water is still adequate, and I think the lower weight is a good trade-off, provided the board is still durable. I don't have enough time on either board to comment on a difference in durability between the two types of PVC. Overall, the accessories with this board are hands-down better than the accessories on my board from a competing manufacturer. Single removable fin design is a plus- the extra fins are not needed on flat water. Fin attachment is clunky and rudimentary, but workable. Two-phase pump (inflates on both upstroke and downstroke) is great added value- this pump inflates significantly faster than single phase pumps from competitors and this attribute should be highlighted more clearly on the website. The paddle is average quality and just barely long enough- I'm 6'3" and use it at full extension. Assuming the board holds up over the years and I don't have issues with punctures/durability, I think it's a great value in the entry-level inflatable SUP market.
