Chatham is where undeniable honest-to-goodness fun meets minimalist efficiency. This bike flaunts a hand-built and shock-absorbent steel frame and a paint job inspired by 1960s surfer charm. Hop on a for a head-turning, envy-inducing cruise.

Chatham is constructed from a hand-built steel shock-absorbent frame. The durable pedals are made from hard plastic with a boron steel axel. Command your ride with Retrospec’s Swingback Bars and KT built-in coaster brake. Wanda tires grip to the path ahead and easily adapt to slick conditions, bumpy roads, and grassy straights.

The hand-built frame has a thicker top tube and is made of steel, all of which better absorb shock of the road. Wanda tires are wider to grip the road and evenly distribute weight. The wide cruiser saddle and high handlebars with cushy grips allow a relaxed ride that is easier on your back.

Chatham-1 has an extremely straightforward build. The single-speed drivetrain and foot-operated brake mean an extra sleek silhouette without any cables. There are fewer parts to this bike and therefore less need for frequent maintenance. The upgraded pedals are lightweight and extra durable with boron steel axles.

Let a beach cruiser facilitate all of your adventures. Ride it to work. Ride it home. Ride it to class. Ride it all the places with undeniable delight.

Great value and classic Cali beach vibe.

I live in a beach town, but it's in New England. This bike never fails to get an admiring glance or comment wherever I park it. Great value and classic Cali style. I also love the Retrospec brand story -- that sort of thing matters to me as a marketing professor -- and it's really fun to ride a brand that screams West Coast back here in the conservative East. I have a really good Trek too, but I find myself taking the Retrospec on almost all my rides and errands. I am six feet and a bit over 200 pounds and this bike is more than up to the task. The long wheelbase and crossbar is super comfortable for a guy my size and avoids that handlebar in the knees feeling I get when turning on shorter cruisers with long bars.

      Sweet Ride

Leaving the truck in the garage!! The Chatham-1 is a perfect cruiser for my work commute, errands, and going about town. Added a rear rack and basket to haul stuff like groceries and beer. Looks cool, goes smooth on the road, great handling, a Sweet Ride to be sure!

      aok

Hello, Not bad for the price! Look۪s cool. I weigh about 195 lbs. and I know about the 220 weight limit so I feel a little uncomfortable ,as I might break it if I ride hard on it. All and all, I like it and it was cool that it was free shipping. Thx!
