What's My Size?

Your inseam can help you find the perfect sized bike (measuring it properly is similar to pant inseams but measured a little differently). Here's how they work:

  1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
  2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
  3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

Quick and easy

The bike was super simple to assemble and has been sturdy for rides across Brooklyn so far. Definitely recommend.

Kinney Review

Very pleased with my new bike. Assembly was straight forward. Only problem was a broken rear reflector. Not sure if I broke it or it came that way. It rides well and fits in my Prius. Fitting in the car was the big unknown. Now waiting for spring ️

I love my bike, but it ain't perfect.

I've had the matte dusk Kinney 7s for about a month now. It’s a beautiful bike and I’ve gotten many compliments on the color. It comes pretty bare bones so its very light. The gears didn’t shift very good at first (a lot if ticking noises) I took it into a shop and they fixed the issue. I hear that this type of shifter needs some getting use to. You need to practice and learn when to shift which can be a challenge. Don’t shift going up hills. My bike chain fell off a few times already but I tightened up the gears a bit and I haven’t had any problems since. The seat is comfortable enough. I’m a little bummed because the outer material on the left handle bar has begun ripping which is annoying but I stitched it up and it seems fine. The bike is so light that it feels almost like a toy instead of a mode of transportation but it is FAST and after riding it for a month and getting use to it, I must say that it's a lot of fun to ride. This bike is light, fun, and fast. Its good for the price but keep in mind that some of the components seem a little cheap and although I’m enjoying it now, I’m not sure how long this bike will last.

Old School Feel

At 70 years old I moved to Florida to get out of the Northern climate and try to get back into some form of shape. I tried a couple bike from a big box store with very poor results and then when to a sporting goods store with similar results. The bikes broke down in short order. Finally I went to a bike store and found this Kinney 7 and fel in love with is at first ride. It fit me like the bikes I remembered from my younger years when I'd ride 1700 miles in a summer. The overall build quality is good even though it is made in the "C" country. After all they have been building and riding bikes for a long time so that should come as no surprise. My biggest complaint would be the tires that came on my bike which seem to be rather thin and I'm constantly fixing flats, Otherwise, a good bike for the money.

Ordered, but received the item!

I placed an order but the item never arrived! Terrible service when I called about it and never provided a fix for the problem...
