Got my Barron about one year ago. The seat is my only complaint, but after replacing seat and tweaking other things to my liking, it is now a very comfortable ride. I am a 67 years old, bought bike so I could get more excerise, other than just yard work. Rode for several months until hurricanes and cold weather encouraged me to park it. Got started riding again a few months ago, enjoy riding it very much. Usually ride between 60 to 90 minutes 3 to 4 days a week. This is a very good bike for the money, assembly and set up was very easy. I think if you want a good bike without breaking the bank, this is the bike for you.
Easy to put together. Gears make weird sounds sometimes when changing, probably just needs to be used more.
Barron 21, a really nice lightweight 21 speed bike that is easy to load, incredibly smooth to ride and shift, comfortable on rough dirt roads, very easy to operate. I know zero about bikes but needed a way to perform good cardio. A helo crash in 2003 broke my back in 3 pieces amongst other things. I am 51, a Army Vet. Pilot. This bike, because of the way its built, enables me to get back into cardio and lets me work to levels much higher than I ever thought. I am just starting out and the ease of shifting, the responsive brakes, the comfort provided by its seat and shock absorbing forks makes this a perfect bike for the ones who want to get out there riding trails, forest service roads, and yes it will make riding in the city like driving a Ferrari! I took it to a very well known mountain bike shop nearby to have it put together and tuned and even they were impressed by it. That's confidence! I cant wait to progress in this bike! Thank you Critical Cycle.
