What's the difference between Venus and Beaumont City Bikes?

While similar in “oh-so-charming” looks, and both of them really are charming, Venus sports enhanced componentry for a smoother, longer-lasting bike. Upgraded parts and top-of-the-line components bump Venus to a higher caliber in comparison to Beaumont.

    Measuring Inseam

Inseam is the most important metric to consider when deciding on bike size. In order to take this measurement properly, follow these guidelines:

    1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
    2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
    3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

Looks nice—I wish I could use it.

I finally received my bike on May 26th. However, upon attempting to put it together I realized I was sent the wrong pedals, the brackets to attach the front wheel are missing and the derailer is bent. I emailed them and haven’t heard back yet. At this point it’s probably a better idea for me to just return it but then

    Love My New Bike

I absolutely love my new bike! I got the Venus 7 step thru city bike in eggshell, 42cm and it is exactly what I was looking for. I am 5'2" and it fits me perfectly. I like that it is very adjustable so the handlebars and seat can be positioned for my short legs and arms! It rides very nicely and has the right amount of gears for me as I only tend to ride around town and on mostly flat bike paths. It looks lovely as well! I have had so many compliments. Very happy that I went with this one:-)

    Great bike. Difficult fenders.

The bike is very nice looking and there are a lot of features to choose from. The fenders need to be precisely adjusted and tightened so that they do not rub the tires. The light seems to be a delicate plastic. I did not install it. Smooth ride. Nice brakes. Smooth shifting.

    Venus bike

My new bike is beautiful and I love to ride it however I am having lots of issues with the right pedal (making lots of noise, rumbles and has even fell off) also the light was on for a week then decided to snap off. I’ve contacted the company but haven’t heard back just yet. I know how busy places are during these crazy times. I would have given the bike 5 stars if I wasn’t having the pedal issue because I do love it and hope that these issues will be resolved.

I love the look. I love the ride it gives. So easy to use. Had to replace the bearings in the left pedal. They were broken in pieces. The front wheel needed adjustment too. All expected when it arrives and needs to be put together. It rides like a dream. The rest of the family has to make two rotations of the pedals to my one just to keep up to me. Haha! Love it!
