I was definitely a bit skeptical to buy an inflatable paddle board but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, portability, and assembly of this one from Retrospec! Set up was so easy - took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish. It’s so durable and easy to carry/maneuver. Deflation takes only a few minutes and it’s so easy to roll back up and put inside of the awesome back pack/carrying case that comes with it. So happy with this purchase! 10/10. :)
This inflatable SUP is perfect for a day at the beach as well as exploring backcountry lakes. It's nice and portable and easy to inflate and super stable in the water which makes it great for bringing a child, friend or pet along!
This board is amazing!!!! I’ve been wanted a paddle board very badly for the past three years and finally was financial able to get one. I got this board in the blush color and it’s ADORABLE! It fits perfectly in the back of my Mini Cooper. Not to mention the board itself is super easy to inflate and deflate. Even for a 110 lbs girl. I highly suggest others to get one of these. (:
This is my first paddleboard, as I'm new to the sport, but after about 6-8 outings since I purchased it, I've become quite confident on the choppy waters of Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay. This board holds up. I can get it from the trunk of my car and onto the water in 15 minutes or less. Unpacked, inflated, and leashed up. Packing it up takes about the same time, but only because I'm meticulous with wiping it down, drying it off and packing it up cleanly and properly. The board itself is clearly of high-quality material, made well, and shows zero sign of wear so far. I was worried about the stability/durability of an inflatable board, but I was misguided. Inflated to the recommended 15psi and it is rock-solid; I take my 4-year old out with me regularly. The ONLY reason I've given it a 4-star review is the paddle (and YES, it dose float). It's a nice three-piece unit that comes apart nicely for storage/transport, but that assembly/disassembly may be part of the problem. After 6-8 outings, it feels a little looser in the joints, which is slightly noticeable out on the water. The plastic components (the grip and adjustment clamp) feel less than high-end, too. Not a deal breaker by any means, but if there is anything I’d replace next summer, it would be the paddle. Other than that, this is an exceptional iSUP and a great value. Highly recommend.
I found this to be even more stable than the resin boards I've tried before. I was able to get out on the water with my 50 lb australian shepherd and with him walking all over only fell off twice at first. Now we've got it down and it's great!! highly recommended.
