Skateboard is greatboard
Perfect skateboard works as good as any, very worth the price, I replaced the wheels bc I like large wheels but they work well.
Really good skateboard
I just bought this skateboard and it came about a week later, but this is a really good, high quality skateboard. The trucks have the perfect amount of looseness to turn, the wheels are very nice, the board barely got scratched up when i would hit it on the curb, and the wood is very thick and luxurious. Definitely recommend.
JUST GOT IT
so i haven’t rode it yet, but it looks very sturdy and professional, for only $40 it looks very cool, the wheels feel really rubbery, but i’ll write another review when i test it out.
A real review
Intermediate skater here, been riding this board throughout the streets and parks of Boston for about two months now. This is a great board, love the shape, the graphic, and the build quality. But it needs a bit of work off the top to be optimal/rideable. First off, BUY A SKATE TOOL ALONG WITH THIS or just use your dad's socket wrenches like I did. The first thing you're gonna want to do is take the wheels off. This thing has next to no roll out of the box, but with a little attention, I got them going really well. Remove the bearings (the red metal things inside the wheels), soak them in alcohol or nail polish remover, and spin them dry between your fingers. This added SO much spin, even to brand new bearings that never saw dirt. Next, put them back in the wheels and tighten the bolt until it stops. Then, as soon as you hit resistance, loosen by a quarter turn. This lets the wheels spin freely without wobbling or coming out of place. This got a great amount of spin and roll on my board, and the bearings felt even better after I broke them in for a little while. Additionally, the trucks are a bit too loose and the griptape is a bit too grippy out of the box. Some light tightening and sanding goes a long way, especially for beginners. After I did this (maybe 20 minutes' worth of stuff), this board shines. Ride it between train stations every day and go to the park with it like twice a week, and it's been great. Best complete board under 50 bucks out there right now.
Alright, as it seems, I'm the only one reviewing this board. I chose the sky blue design that has the trimetric squares. I'm going to say this: If you are looking for a really nice board, but cannot afford most brands, this is the board for you. When I got mine, I didn't find a single flaw with it. It feels smooth, rides smooth, and looks like a dream! It has metal trucks, polyurethane wheels, and ABEC 11 bearings. Compared to my Kryptonics Recruit Series board (Wal-Mart board), it is slightly bigger and a little more heavier. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this board to anyone who has a thing called a budget like me. NOTE: Prepare to get your skate tools out. The board will be wrapped in plastic.
