Product Manager -Camping
As a Product Manager -Camping you will report directly to our CEO and COO and collaborate closely with design and marketing teams . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities, ensuring the growth and profitability of the category.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead category management and develop product strategies for camping and outdoor products, driving strategies from concept to launch.
- Analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for product growth and improvement.
- Execute category strategies to expand market presence.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for informed product decisions.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and marketing teams to bring products to market.
- Define product specifications, timelines, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee product development, ensuring quality, budget, and launch deadlines are met.
- Manage the product portfolio, including SKU rationalization and lifecycle.
- Work with sales and marketing teams on go-to-market strategies and promotions.
- Monitor performance and feedback to optimize category strategies.
- Build strong supplier relationships including sourcing negotiating terms and ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Manage budget forecasting, pricing, and margin analysis for financial success.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in category or product management, ideally within the camping or outdoor industry.
- Strong understanding of the camping and outdoor markets, including key players, trends, and consumer behavior.
- Proven success in launching products and driving category growth.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
