Warehouse & ERP Help Desk

 We’re looking to grow our Warehouse IT team by bringing on a talented individual who wants exposure to our broad desktop computing tech stack and complex technical warehouse infrastructure. The Distribution Center Help Desk role will be responsible for providing assistance in all technical-related issues related to Netsuite ERP, Manhattan WMS, related devices, and everyday computing of Retrospec staff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with our warehouse operations team by spending time on the warehouse floor to learn their workflows so we can better accommodate them with technical issues.
  • Troubleshooting a wide variety of technical issues ranging from wifi issues, Manhattan WMS trouble shooting, Netsuite ERP, EDI integrations, devices including printers, computers, and handhelds, among other things.
  • Collaborate across departments to solve high-impact incidents with a sense of urgency by providing quality and accurate information.
  • Basic IT support tasks as directed by the help desk. 
  • Mentor teammates towards self-sufficiency on common technical practices and protocols; empower users to leverage their technological tools
  • Establish and update team-wide best practices for the purposes of knowledge management and sharing through technical documentation
  • Demonstrate accountability and ownership by employing a strong work ethic to solve complex problems from start to finish.
  • Perform research independently by asking clarifying questions, gathering relevant data, and resolving the manner using a data driven approach

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of IT-related field or equivalent work experience, ideally working in a warehouse environment. 
  • Ability to write and utilize SQL scripts to pull data from complex data sets
  • Experience troubleshooting warehouse device equipment such as RF Barcode Scanners, Zebra label printers, and other peripherals/devices.
  • Experience troubleshooting EDI or Netsuite a plus
  • Experience with technical documentation and presenting succinct analysis to leadership
  • Eagerness to learn production workflows, processes and adopting systems best practices
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills while keeping attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize accordingly.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Acting as a team player who is dedicated to providing the best results possible.
  • Having a strong work ethic and desire to be a life-long learner.
