    Measuring Inseam

Inseam is the most important metric to consider when deciding on bike size. In order to take this measurement properly, follow these guidelines:

    1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
    2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
    3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

      Good basic bike

Great bike! Ridden it over 300 miles already and it gets better with each ride. At first I was a little apprehensive since it creaked and moaned for the first ten miles, but since then it has been silent. Must be a break in period. The only thing I’ve done to the bike is put liners in the wheels and slime in the tubes (a must in Arizona). Make sure you have a bike pump that can connect to a presta valve. Assembly was very easy and the bike was packaged well. I’m 5’11” with a 34” inseam and the large bike frame works well with my dimensions. My usual rides are 15 to 20 miles on city streets. The bike is light enough that it climbs pedestrian overpasses with ease. The coaster brake works well, but it will skid the tire if you press too hard. Recommend getting use to it before encountering any steep declines.

      Harper Single Speed Review

Very easy to put together out of the box. Tires needed air luckily I have a pump, but could see this being an issue for other customers. Was riding the same day. A few weeks went by of riding and I have no complaints. The bike rides smooth and functions nicely. Brakes work very well and it is a great overall bike. Be careful though as the nuts came loose of the front tire and the handlebars after some wear and tear. A quick tighten and it was good as new. Eventually I will consider changing the handle bars and adding and hand break for ease of use, but given the circumstances and product options in stock I chose this one. Great product. I also recommended it to a friend and he bought one the next week.
