    Measuring Inseam

Inseam is the most important metric to consider when deciding on bike size. In order to take this measurement properly, follow these guidelines:

    1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
    2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
    3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

    Good Bike Over All

I got this bike because I wanted a bike that could pretty much do all. This bike was good for the first 50 miles I rode on it for (I’ve only rode on roads and concrete bike trails). However, my right pedal and crankset broke, but these are the only not name brand gear/parts on the bike. I am 5’5” and 145 lbs, so not close to the weight limit. Currently my bike is in the shop and I have to pay $100 to get everything fixed and replaced, but overall, I would still recommend this bike for the price, how smooth the ride is, and how versatile this bike can be.

    Love at first ride

I bought this bike for my husband and he’s a big fan from the overall look to the smooth ride! It was relatively easy to put together (odd that it didn’t come with instructions but we looked them up online) and he’s looking forward to nice weather and long rides.

    Great bike.

I wanted a hybrid bike with a minimalist style and this fit the bill. I didn’t know anything about Retrospec before I purchased, but would definitely buy again. The bike shipped free and was easy to assemble. The lower gears slip a little bit, but that can probably be fixed with an adjustment; I’m just not confident enough to do it on my own.

Absolutely good bikes for the price!

Putting the bike together was not too difficult. But might be a problem for someone who has no experience with bike mechanics. We bought two of them, a man's and a woman's. The gear (back part) of the woman's is working, but needs some adjustment. The chain has a problem to go to / stay on the biggest sprocket. I am still working on that. We are disappointed that it is not possible to heighten the handle bar. I guess the specification mentioned that, but we missed it. It seems technically doable and not more expensive (in the design) to replace the used mechanism by a more traditional one that is adjustable. Both of us enjoy riding the bikes!!
