How to measure my inseam for a bike

Your inseam can help you find the perfect sized bike (measuring it properly is similar to pant inseams but measured a little differently). Here's how they work:

  1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
  2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
  3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

    New Bike!

Great color and nice frame. Only two cons, the seat is very hard so it hurts your behind while sitting (in the process of buying a new seat or extra cushion) Also, my foot touches the front tire when turning, is that normal? This is my first mountain bike and I found it very annoying..

    He was right

I got this bike a year ago as a gift from my husband and I love it. He mountain bikes. I am more of a hill and path biker but was very pleased with how easy it takes the hills and gravel. He kept telling me it was time to get rid of my 15 year old bike and that I was working too hard on our rides. He was right.

The tires grind gears. Was basically told to return or scrap the bike by the bike repair shop. But I believe the bike was final sale. The chain comes off frequently and the repairs will only last so long. But my 13 year old really loves it and despite the issues, it’s a good bike for a sale price. I’ve rode it and it was a bit unstable but overall a smooth ride.
