    2 Year Review

Finally reviewing this as I have owned it for two years and have a solid opinion on the SUP.

As others have mentioned, the fins are very difficult to take off and put on. I thought it would loosen up a bit over time but to this day it’s as difficult as ever. I also noticed that even at 11-12 PSI it sits lower in the water than my friend’s board that goes up to 15 PSI. Not sure if that’s the reason but it does mean I get more easily wet than she does. Not an huge deal as I expect this being on water but wanted to call it out.

Overall, this is a good board considering it is entry level and budget friendly compared to some others. I do like the ease of carrying it around in the backpack. I’ve carried this on beaches, rocks, etc and I’m just now starting to see some small holes on the bag. I don’t use the pump it came with because I bought an electric one instead (which I highly recommend.) It’s roomy enough for me and my little pup. She loves it. This board was my intro to paddle boarding and I’m glad I bought it!

Excellent beginner with a few flaws

The ride is smooth and these are a great quality but I get why the cost is as low as it is. My first experience with paddle boards were borrowing non inflatable boards from a friend. These are very comparable in speed and stability but there’s a few things you’re missing at this price point. The paddles not fully locking in height with a press pin can cause issues but the retrospec locking mechanism is fine. The hand pump is good but I wish I could easily attach to my own battery powered inflator. The worst thing though is my bags refuse to zip properly and are essentially unusable. I purchased two boards and both bags constantly separates. I probably wouldn’t be nearly as critical if the zipper issue wasn’t there.

    So far so good!

Same complaint with the pump as everyone else. It doesn’t read anything and is not very user friendly. Also the fins are very hard to put on

    Jayme,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're happy to learn that you are enjoying your new Weekender 10' Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board (Legacy)!
We're sorry you're experiencing some difficulty with reading the pressure gauge. It does not begin reading until there is a pressure of 7-8 PSI. The board will seem sturdy but there is more pressure that needs to be built to make the board secure. To test that your gauge works you can remove the hose on the pump and cover up the nozzle in the handle with your palm. With the high-pressure knob located on the body of the pump. While securely holding your palm in place and holding the handle with your other hand as well begin a pump. The pressure will build quickly as there is nowhere for the air to escape. Push as hard as you can and you will see the needle of the gauge jump or begin to climb. ANY jumping in the needle shows that the pressure is being read and your gauge is good. You will need to remove the high-pressure knob attached to the string on the pump to bring the PSI higher if the pressure does not build up higher than 10 PSI.
It's also not uncommon for your new board’s fins to be a bit difficult to install – this is most likely because they haven’t been broken in yet. Even if you can’t get your fin to be flush against the plastic frame, you can take your board out on the water anyway in order to break them in.
We hope this helps, and that you're up and paddling in no time! We sincerely appreciate your business.

    Great board

Great board for great price. Only downside the find were very difficult to get in as a result I haven’t taken the fins off yet so I couldn’t get the board back in the bag after initial use.
