How to measure my inseam for a bike

Your inseam can help you find the perfect sized bike (measuring it properly is similar to pant inseams but measured a little differently). Here's how they work:

  1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
  2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
  3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.
SizeHeight RangeStandover Height
50CM - S 5'2"-5'5" 31.5"
54CM - M 5'6"-5'8" 32"
58CM - L 5'9"-6' 32.5"

Love it, but assembly not the easiest.

Love the bike and rides well, but assembly was a little confusing, better instructions wouldve been nice.

Great for petite, older ladies too!

I am 4'11", and with the handlebars and seat all the way down, the tippy toe is at a minimum. I get an adult bicycle! I put it together myself but then took it to a bike shop for a tune-up before riding (worth the money not to damage the bike). I upgraded the seat to the Chatham Cruiser Comfort bike saddle and added the Toto Handwoven Cane basket. I am 52 and haven't rode a bike in about 20 years. I found it easy to reacquaint myself with the relaxing ride of this bike. It is a heavier bike, which might be an issue for commuters. For me, it is for recreational rides only. It is stylish and comfortable - the perfect summertime fun!

Good for the price but kind of heavy

It is a very beautiful bike. Apart from the frame and the wheels which look fantastic the rest of the bike is kind of cheap:

-Pedals are plastic (doesn’t affect the ride)

-The handles for the brakes feel plastic (doesn’t affect the ride)

-The brakes are kind of hard to adjust (affects the ride)

-The saddle is hard to adjust (affects the ride)

-This is an overall kind of a heavy bike, you can’t lift it up the stairs for long.

I love this bike so much but unfortunately the weight doesn’t let me carry it anywhere I want. I can still lift it and carry it on 5 stairs but no more than that. Would I buy it again? For sure, this bike is awesome. But if you can spend more money, I suggest that you buy one of the options of the aluminum frame.

    Super dope!

Was looking to upgrade from my scwhinn and immediately fell in love with the retro style of the Beaumont. It does it all. I use it to commute to work, go grocery shopping, cruise around town and pretty much everything. Highly recommend.

    Cutest Hybrid

The bike is gorgeous! The instructions were simple, it probably took me an hour to assemble it. I love the height, I am 5’2 and it’s very comfortable. I wish the seat was little more comfortable, but that’s fixable.
