7 Adventures to Take Before Summer Ends
It’s official. Our favorite time of year is coming to a close.
Before the season starts to change, the warm weather cools down, and days get shorter, making the most of these last summer days is top priority!
Since we want you to get outside and experience all that nature has to offer, we came up with an end of summer bucket list with some activities you may have not considered before to get the good times rolling and the memory-making underway.
1. Find a new picnicking spot
If you and your friends love spending the day at the park, grab your ride of choice, and go!
Depending on the terrain of the park, you’ll want to consider a variety of different transportation before embarking on your adventure.
We highly recommend hybrid bikes like Atlas or Barron for unpredictable, on and off-road parks. It’s so fun to be able to get off the beaten path whenever you want and find a new spot to stop and chill.
Beaumont is the perfect bike for parks with paved roads. This comfortable, upright city bike comes with the option for a step-through frame for easy on and off, making it ideal for cruising through the park and stopping to enjoy the scenery. With a built-in rear rack, picnicking is a breeze—simply attach a picnic basket or any kind of cargo and go!
2. Experience a new trail
Switch up the usual route and find a new trail to trek. Discover new sounds, scents, and sceneries as a magical way to close out the summer.
If you’re interested in mountain biking but never gave it a go, the summer is the perfect time to do just that. Our mountain bike, Ascent is designed to build confidence on the trails.
With a lightweight aluminum frame, 21 gear options to tackle every uphill and downhill, wide, tractioned tires, and a 100mm travel suspension fork, you’ll be able to conquer any trail you choose.
If you’d prefer walking instead, make sure you’re equipped with all the best trail and hiking gear. Stay prepared with good hiking boots, an insulated water bottle like Alder to keep your beverage cold for up to 24 hours in hot weather, and trekking poles to handle anything the trail might throw at you.
Our Solstice Aluminum Trekking Poles are perfect for uncharted new trails. Their adjustable, lightweight shafts, and options for cork or foam grips and various end attachments make them versatile and ready for all kinds of action.
3. Sightsee your city
Take advantage of longer days while they’re still here and roll around your city. Sometimes exploring your city on two wheels is all that’s necessary to see it in a new perspective.
Our minimalistic city bikes like Kinney and Harper are great options for bee-lining across the metropolis, hitting up your local farmer’s markets, cafés and ice cream shops, and exploring all the nooks and crannies you can’t reach by car.
Harper is streamlined for utility with its lightweight steel frame, option for riding single speed or freewheel with an included flip flop hub, and optimized commuter tires.
Kinney is another solid choice for city sightseeing as it sports a durable steel frame, a versatile, seven speed drivetrain to help you take on inclines and declines with ease, smooth-rolling commuter tires, and swept-back handlebars to support a comfortable, upright riding position.
For a more easygoing cruise, Beaumont is the ultimate choice. Inspired by vintage European city bikes, Beaumont is designed to carry its rider from one destination to another with ease, comfort and style.
Crafted to commute and run errands, this city bike comes equipped with an optional step-through frame for easy on and offs, full wrap fenders to ride rain or shine, and a rear rack to haul all the essentials.

Valen Rev is our fat tire e-bike and your new go-to for seaside riding. Valen Rev can handle all sorts of terrains and easily rolls over any sand that might have blown onto the path.
