Why does my board wobble when I accelerate?

When you go faster, your board’s trucks are more responsive to each movement you make. The “speed wobbles” you experience are a result of this. It’s dangerous to ride your board faster than you’re able to control,  as you can be thrown from your board if you lose control. We recommend beginners start with flat, paved roads before transitioning to downhill terrain.

Another reason you may be experiencing speed wobbles is because of soft bushings or a loose back truck. Become familiar with all components of your board prior to riding and always make sure it’s tuned up before riding to prevent any injuries or damages.
