    Measuring Inseam

Inseam is the most important metric to consider when deciding on bike size. In order to take this measurement properly, follow these guidelines:

    1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
    2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
    3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

      Love My Bike!

Ordered my Bike On-Line, the Beaumont, it shipped to my house on the Date that it was stated to deliver. Easily put together, I took it to my local bike shop to get a it checked over as suggested in th instructions. I love this bike, love the retro look, I have had many people take pictures of it with there phones, and of course I told them where and how to order one. My only regret is I didn't order one years ago

      Beaumont City Bike, 7 speed

The bike looks great overall and very comfy and fun to ride. Have gotten many compliments. Unfortunately, when I received the bike, there was a fairly large scratch/scuff. The front fender was also crooked so had to straighten out manually. If the bike wasn’t sold out i would have gone through the process of returning/exchanging up decided just to keep the bike and leave the scratch/scuff.

The bike is perfect, it was easy to put together and it rides very smooth! I like the color a lot to, it looks just like its picture if not better.

      Great Price! Great Bike!

I put this together in a couple of hours - mostly because it was really windy outside and things kept blowing away. The directions are pretty clear, but I can see how people could get confused by some of the technical writing. I have only had the bike put together a week, maybe longer, taken it out 4 times. There is some irritation in adjusting the bike til everything is straight and working properly. I still have to adjust the brakes of the front wheel. The front wheel cover is also not perfectly aligned and I'm unsure how to fix it without consulting Retrospec support. They do offer support on all of their bikes and encourage you to get in touch if you have any issues. This bike does take some tinkering and if that's not for you, have a shop adjust things before you go out. This is my NYC pandemic bicycle, and it's helping me navigate the city when I have the courage to go out. Overall, this is a great bike for the price from what seems like a solid company.
