How to measure my inseam for a bike

Your inseam can help you find the perfect sized bike (measuring it properly is similar to pant inseams but measured a little differently). Here's how they work:

  1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
  2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
  3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.
SizeHeight RangeStandover Height
48CM - S 5'3" - 5'6" 29.7"
52CM - M 5'5" - 5'8" 30.8"
56CM - L 5'7" - 6'0" 32.1"
60CM - XL 5'9" - 6'2" 33.2"

    Great ride for the price

Can’t beat it for the price. My one top recommendation would be to buy some Schwalbe or Continental tires because the ones that it comes with arent very puncture resistant. That’s not a complaint, just a recommendation. This bike is easy to mod out too. I put cruiser bars on my last one and even installed a e-bike pedal- assist kit on it. I ended up selling it because I was moving cross country. Anyway I’m always pleased with these bikes

The Minimalist Tour Machine: 216 Miles on a Harper Fixie

This Harper Fixie performed well during my 216-mile tour. Its simplicity and lack of gears prevented mechanical problems and provided a direct road connection. The steel frame cushioned vibrations, enhancing comfort on the journey. This bike shows that reliability and ride feel matter more than having many features, making it a great choice for a minimalist tour.
