How to measure my inseam for a bike

Your inseam can help you find the perfect sized bike (measuring it properly is similar to pant inseams but measured a little differently). Here's how they work:

  1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
  2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
  3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

18IN - M 5'9"-5'11" 32"

    Comfortable Gear, Great to Ride!

Got exactly what I wanted with an upright ride, Revoshift Shimano shifter, 21 gears for easy hill climbing, shock absorbers to absorb some of the road bumps, and a comfortable seat for longer rides. The price was good, and assembly was relatively easy.

    Nice Bike

    Pros:

    - Very nice looking bike

    - Affordable price for a new bike

    Cons:

    - Assembly instructions basically useless (not descriptive enough). Watching a general bike assembly video on youtube would be better. If you already know how to assemble a bike, then probably won't be too much of an issue. But if you don't, it will.

    - Some parts seem to be kind of cheap. I assembled this bike at the same time I fixed up a trek bike and the trek was more enjoyable. For example, the allen wrench that came with this bike was a little bit too small and started stripping screws while I was working on the breaks... I had one from home that fit better and just used that wrench instead.

    Hi Joshua,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve our products and your feedback is valuable to us. I will share your comments with our product team. We're also sorry to learn that the allen key did not fit well, and grateful you had access to another. We try to provide detailed assembly instructions for you to put your bike together at home. However, we highly recommend bringing your bike to a local bike shop to have a professional bike mechanic check out your bike before riding it. Some bike shops also offer assembly as a service and will put together your bike for you, so you don’t have to worry about missing any crucial components. Having a professional assemble or look at your bike isn’t necessary, but we certainly encourage it! If you do not have access to a local bike shop, please reach out to our team so we can help with any questions you may have during your assembly. Again, we sincerely appreciate your business and thank you for choosing Retrospec.

    Good bike for the price

Good bike for the price. You will most likely need to tune all components (brakes, shifters) for the bike to work well.

    Nice bike!

I was so happy the bike came earlier than I thought! Once I figured out how to put everything together it’s been great but the assembly instructions are not very helpful. I am surprised there’s no QR code to a video or anything else that can help explain what to do. This was the first bike I ever assembled and didn’t know what half of the terms mean and could have used some support. I googled and searched hours for examples to follow but finally had to just decide on how I wanted to try it.

I think it’s a good bike so far, still just trying to figure out if I did it all right!

Hello Adrian, Thanks for contacting us, We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your order. Can you provide us with some quick video of the issue? When you received the bike were you able to take it by a local bike shop for assembly or at least tune up? Thanks
