It all originated in 1950s Hawaii with California close behind. Surfers took to the streets by rigging makeshift backyard longboards when adequate surf was hard to find.     My son needed a longboard for college on the east coast (we live in northern California). I prayed and asked the Lord for something nice and affordable, and I found this retrospec brand. My son chose the style, which was reduced by $20 (good for our tight budget) and you shipped it for free, hallelujah! It arrived at his college the day he moved into the dorm. He loves this board and he made a friend there who also has a longboard. Praise ***! Thank you very much!

    A fantastic Beach Board

    I love my 41 inch longboard the 80 grip tape is awesome and I love the slight concave to the board it locks my feet in place it gives me a solid feel of knowing where my feet are on the deck at all times I love the clean Style of artistry on the bottom of the deck trucks are nice and long I only wish they would offer a 70 Duro on the wheels the 80 is really hard and doesn't grip as well but I do a lot of downhill with my board. In my opinion this board should be double the price because it rides just as good if not better than my Sector 9 and my Globe Prowler
