How to measure my inseam for a bike

Your inseam can help you find the perfect sized bike (measuring it properly is similar to pant inseams but measured a little differently). Here's how they work:

  1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
  2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
  3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

    Great Bike - Easy Recommendation

As a cyclist with 30+ years riding experience I would not hesitate to recommend this bike to anyone in need of an inexpensive, well-made, reliable, compact folding bike. It's as basic as a bike can get - a single speed, coaster brake bike for short trips around town. Perfect for exercise and exploration when traveling. The bike comfortably fit both me (6'1") and my (5'0") partner. To avoid any possible issues with grease on my work clothing or in my car I degreased and hot waxed the chain.

Great travel/camping bike - Smooth Roller!

Usefulness - We bought two of these light, aluminum frames bikes to use instead of our heavy mountain bikes when we go camping. They have been great on trips or for using at home too.

The Judd folding bikes are much lighter than our old mountain bikes and, when folded, the two easily fit in the back of our Subaru Outback, with plenty of room left over for a large electric cooler, golf clubs, and a bunch of other stuff.

We will no longer have to choose whether to bring the tandem kayak and gear OR the bikes, because with these folding bikes, we can now bring both!

Coaster Brake - The simple coaster brake reminds me of the bikes I had as a kid. The lack of cables for brakes and gears simplifies the folding/unfolding processes and prevents tangling when packing the two bikes together.

Pedals - The pedals fold with a spring-loaded mechanism to make the bike narrower when stored or when rolling between to cars in the garage.

Seat Post - The seat post is EXTRA LONG and widely adjustable to easily fit my wife at 5'2" or me at 6'1".

Do NOT try to do wheelies on this bike since that long exposed seat post will no doubt bend like overcooked spaghetti.

Handlebars - Comfortable grips. The handlebars are also nicely adjustable. I can raise them up for a comfortable upright riding position. I don't have to lean forward and put additional load on my wrists, which can no longer tolerate the sportier riding position.

I can feel the handlebar post assembly flex a bit if I put load…

Have it for a while now - still nice

I got my Judd a few years ago. It was more expensive then, and based on the advertising around it now, I think mine is heavier than the newer ones.

Regardless, I love this bike! I drive a VW Beetle and needed a high quality, easy to maintain foldable bike that could fit in it.

The ride is great, everything is solid, even years later. It was easy to set up when I got it and has been easy to maintain.

I did get a seat with more padding because I am a bigger man (down to 281lbs from 322 though!).

    Couldn't recommend this bike more!
