I highly recommend the Weekender 10' inflatable board. I am a beginner at SUP and I bought this board to take on a trip to the Caribbean (the trip was cancelled due to Covid) but I took this board out in a pool to start and then to a river. It was easy enough to inflate, it did take about 10 mins, but it was very sturdy when inflated. Would not know when standing on it that it was inflatable if I hadn't personally inflated it. It is big enough to comfortably hold me (5'5 female) plus my 40lb dog. As a beginner, I did not have any problems standing on this board. However, my brother who is 6'4" and his wife 5'9" both struggled to stay standing on this board. I have only taken it out twice but I was very impressed with how sturdy it was and how well it held up. All the extras included, such as bag and leash were an added bonus.
I’m an experienced kayaker but I had only been on a paddle board once before falling in love and deciding to purchase one, so I didn’t really know what details to look for. I did tons and tons of research and this was the only one under $500 that not only had overwhelmingly positive reviews, but seemed to come from a reliable company that specializes in sporting equipment. I’m on the larger side (200lbs) so I was a bit concerned about the sturdiness of this board, which ended up not being an issue what so ever! Inflating it was honestly quite the workout (yet fairly quick) but assembling and disassembling was a piece of cake. I had a great time out on the water and the bright orange color got everyone’s attention. It’s convenient to store if you live in a small apartment or have a compact vehicle. So happy I found this company and managed to snag one before it quickly sold out! I only had to wait 10 days before it was restocked, it shipped that evening and arrived 4 days later.
purchased this after a friend bought one and enjoyed it. works great and is very portable. good balance of speed and stability. good customer service.
I have been looking for an affordable paddleboard for a LONG time, but I was hesitant to try an inflatable one. I thought an inflatable paddleboard would be too light, flimsy, and unreliable, but a friend of mine showed me his Retrospec board and told me how little he paid for it and I was sold! I couldn't be happier with my 10 ft. board. It's beautiful, sturdy, easy to use and transport, and a speedy, sensitive ride on the water. It also comes with everything you could possibly need (dry bag for phone, repair kit, fins, paddle, pump, backpack-style carrying case), all great quality! The only negative thing I can think of to say is that the instruction book isn't super accurate (maybe I got one meant for a different model?), but the inflation/deflation process is user-friendly enough to figure out without it. Also, if you're wondering what size to get, I'm 5'4", 120 pounds and the 10 ft. board is smaller and touchier than I'm used to, but I don't mind. A taller person or inexperienced paddler would do well to choose a larger size. Buy this board! You will love it!!
Wife and daughters loved it!
