Easy to use but a failure.
I am sorry to share with you my first experience with my Drifter snowshoes. Day 1, enjoyed the ease of putting on and taking off the Drifters. Hike was 4 miles that day. Day 2, after 1 mile, the inside rivet that holds the toe piece in place, failed. I was not carrying a repair kit and had to limp back to the point of origin. The next day I searched a couple of sport shops to find a place to replace the rivet or suggest a solution. On the upside, none had experienced a fix to my snowshoe dilemma. I think a zip tie in my pocket would have saved the day. I plan to take the broken snowshoe to the nearest hardware store and find the appropriate bolts, nuts and washers for a fix and spare parts for next time. I would have preferred to give you 5 stars.
