How to measure my inseam for a bike

Your inseam can help you find the perfect sized bike (measuring it properly is similar to pant inseams but measured a little differently). Here's how they work:

  1. Stand upright with your feet 6-8" apart.
  2. Using a tape measure or tailor tape, measure from the bottom of your foot to the top of the inside of your leg.
  3. Compare your inseam measurement to the standover height of the bike. You should have about an inch of space between your body and the top tube.

Makes me want to ride every day.

The ride is silky smooth and even as a one speed cruises along. Easy to fold and unfold. I upgraded my tires and seat, but honestly it was perfection right out the box. It really makes me want to ride every day.

    Perfect for me 😁

Good bicycle for what it is. I use it on paved trails around my area. Haven't had any major problems with it thus far, seat because a little lose but nothing like tightening it back up put me back to riding! Lol so yes overall I would recommend for those like me, light cyclist who are a little pressed for space.

Nearly perfect ( but can be with a few modifications)

Looking for the lightest folding bike I could find, I was drawn to the simplicity of the Judd. that and the fact that it looks more like a real bike and not something a clown would be riding in the circus…

I’ve only had it a few days, so I can’t comment on long term performance/durability. But it seems to be solidly built. And after ensuring everything is torqued up to where it needs to be, it feels sturdier than what I’d expect for a bike with a hinge in the middle of the frame.

The weakest spot (and not that it’s flimsy, just not as solid) seems to be the long telescoping handlebar stem. But I’m hoping to correct this with a BMX-style turtle-neck stem and handlebar modification.

I thought I wouldn’t mind the coaster brake, but after riding freewheel for so long, it’s difficult to switch back. So, I swapped out the rear wheel for a freewheel setup and added a rear side-pull hand brake. I think if Retrospec offered these options/upgrades it would be a home run.

But I’m definitely digging' it so far and hope it’s as durable as it seems!
