Do all bike seats fit all bikes?

Not all bike seats fit all bikes. Seat post diameters vary. 27.2mm, 30.9mm, 31.6mm, and 34.9mm are all possible post diameters on modern U.S. bikes. However, all retrospec bike seats do fit all retrospec bikes! This distinction is not universally agreed upon, though, and both terms are widely used to refer to the same thing: the part of a bicycle you sit on while riding.

Is a hard or soft bike seat better?

Hard saddles—like those found on road bikes—are favored by experienced cyclists and those who ride longer distances. How do I know what grips fit my bike?

If so, one of the simplest tricks to fix slipping grips is to coat the handlebar in hairspray. The sticky residue helps create friction between the grip and the handlebar. Another option is to use grip glue, which is specifically designed for this purpose. If your grips are already installed and starting to slip, try cleaning the handlebars thoroughly with rubbing alcohol to remove any dirt or oil buildup. You can also try lightly sanding the inside of the grips to create a rougher surface for better adhesion.
