My wife built the bike for me and unfortunately put the handle bars on backwards making me think the wheel was too close to the pedals after leaving a review within minutes i got an email explaining the situation so i went and fixed it and the bike is great now like i said in my last review understand what a single speed bike is before getting it cause it doesnt really cruise but thats why you get such a good price i def recommend also side note the seat may not be too comfy but thats an easy fix or maybe it was the Wrong size for me still better than most though and it looks nice overall great experience
Its fine for the price i would have loved it if the pedals werent so close to the front wheel and no its not cause of my size the pedal is literally almost touching the front wheel so turning is pretty much impossible and the seat is very stiff and uncomfortable make sure you understand what single speed means too cause this thing does not cruise at all the moment you stop pedaling it pretty much just stops
Hi Steven,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I can see that you connected with a member of our customer service team and they were able to identify that the fork was positioned facing backwards. We're glad to see that you are happy with the service you experienced and thank you for taking the time to leave another review, we sincerely appreciate that!
We hope you enjoy many rides outside on your new bike.
I really like the bike and the way it rides assembly was really easy. Only issue I had was the tire tube had a couple pin hole leaks, got a new tube and all good. Would definitely recommend the bike to anyone looking for a great all around bike.
This bike takes me back to racing to the video store to rent "Rad" for the millionth time, trying to master those tricks from the opening scene on my grammar school blacktop, and getting air jumping curbs all over town. For quite some time I've been searching for a BMX-style bike from my youth, but a lot of the bikes I've seen are too expensive or too gaudy. I purchased my Sully Klunker in early July, and I have been riding the **** out of it all summer. While my 11-year old yells at me for trying to pop wheelies without a helmet and at 49 years old I have no plans for competing in Helltrack, I absolutely love this bike! Thank you Retrospec!!!
Easy to put together, fun to ride and love the style.
